The Bulk Actions button makes it easy to update multiple users at a time.
How to use Bulk Actions
Click Users on the top menu bar to be taken to the Users page.
Select the users that you want to modify by ticking the boxes at the left of their names.
Note: Owners of a site cannot be included in bulk actions.
Click the orange 'Bulk Actions' button at the top of the Users page, then select the function that you want.
Using bulk actions you can:
- Send notifications
- Register users into one or more courses or collections
- Remove users from courses
- Add users to groups
- Remove users from groups
- Reset passwords
- Make users inactive or active
- Delete users
Note: you cannot delete or make a contributor inactive using bulk actions. You need to revoke their permissions back to a user which allows this person to be included in any bulk action.
