How do dates work in reports?

Intuto reports are displayed on screen in your time zone. To keep things simple, our reports export using UTC so the data is consistent no matter where you are located.

If you are looking at a reporting page in Intuto, you will be shown the dates of course status updates relative to the time zone you are in.

When you first log into Intuto, the system will determine your time zone based on the time on your computer. If you change to a new time zone you can always update your settings through the My Profile section.change timezone

When you export a report, the dates shown on the report will be shown in UTC as seen below.

What is UTC?

Coordinated Universal Time (or UTC) is the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time. It is not adjusted for daylight saving time and is effectively a successor to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Time zones add or subtract hours from UTC depending on the location around the world, for example New Zealand's time zone is UTC+12, or UTC+13 when observing daylight savings.
